Cranes for the Blind : I'm making and selling paper crane earrings to raise money for blind children in my area. Art for a cause! It's pretty groovy. :)

Spare Time : I practically spend all day drawing, and nothing is more fun than drawing outside, in the fresh air!!

Still Drawing... : When I was four years old, I used to draw picture books all the time. I'd tell people I wanted to be an author and illustrator!!

Meet Karyn : Since I am planning on becoming an animator, I like to create characters and draw them over and over again doing what they love. Meet Karyn. She's a college sophomore who loves to draw. Remind you of anyone? ;)

This is Karyn's dorm. : Immediately after I create a character, I laways draw his/her room, because your room says SO MUCH about you!

February Calendar : Last year, during my freshman year of college, my RA (resident advisor) asked me if I'd like to design calendars for our residence hall. I was honored! Here is the big drawing I made for the February calendar. It took more than a week!

Every Girl Has Inner Beauty : In art class, we had to design a promotional poster for a made-up product. Mine is a lip gloss ad. This project was challenging for me because I don't believe that women should rely on cosmetic products to feel beautiful.

Pirates Are Red Hot!! : When I was in high school, my class's mascot was the red and grey pirates. I showed my pirate spirit by designing a nautical batik project. It's a little sloppy! Batiking is a lot harder than just painting!!
